Caring for the Soul of Your Spouse – Equipping Event

20 Jan Events, News | 1 comment

You’re invited!

The effects of ministry on marriage and marriage on ministry are rarely discussed, yet intimately connected. This February, Project Renovation invites you to a special night we’re calling, “Caring for the Soul of Your Spouse.”

Our hosts for the evening will be Jerry and Karen Higley, veterans of over 30 years of marriage and ministry. Jerry has served as the Executive Director of Lebanon Youth For Christ for the past 35 years and has seen almost everything you can imagine in Youth Ministry. Karen served in a variety of volunteer roles before coming on staff at Lebanon Area Evangelical Free Church as the Women’s Ministry Director nine years ago. Together they’ve weathered their share of ministry ups and downs and will join us to share what they’ve learned along the way.

We’d love to have you and your significant other join us at the historic Trust Center in downtown Lancaster for the free event. We’ll provide the coffee and dessert; you provide your story and experiences for this important conversation.

Our vision is for every ministry leader to be deeply involved in a healthy ministry and at the same time to demonstrate a vibrant, uncompromising love to their spouse. We’ll hear from couples who have been through it all, lived to talk about, and now love each other more than ever.

Not married? You’re on the top of the guest list. Please consider joining us! This could be the beginning of a beautiful relationship!
