Partnering with Parents – Event Info

You’re invited to our next Equipping Event!

As student pastors, we all understand it takes countless hours of casting vision and implementing strategy to disciple students effectively. But the reality is, no matter how hard we try, there will always be a relationship that out-impacts ours… the parents!

Good or bad, believer or unbeliever, fan or foe, biological or by law, parents have the number one influence on a teen’s life. While your ministry may be great, the roughly 40 hours per year you get to influence a teen will never compare to the nearly 3,000 hours they spend every year at home.

We are absolutely convinced that student ministries can more effectively disciple students when they partner with parents.

So where do we start? It’s not exactly the easiest thing to do. Life is busy, the ministry calendar is packed, and we already feel like our plates are overflowing. How can we effectively partner with parents and at the same time do our job as student pastors?

Come join us and other student ministries from across Central Pennsylvania as we dive into the nitty-gritty’s of partnering with parents in student ministry. Our time will be led by Dan Puz, Jr. High Youth Director at Living Word Community Church.

The Details:

  • When? Thursday, October 24th from 10:00 to Noon
  • Where? Teague Learning Commons at Lancaster Bible College
  • Who? Youth Pastors, Directors, Volunteers, and anyone else interested in how the church partners with families.
  • How Much? Absolutely Free!
